Ibid Gallery moves to a converted warehouse in Los Angeles

Premature announcement on the sales price of Kanye West’s wax double

An article in The New York Times has made a premature announcement, this time by saying that a wax sculpture of Kanye West, inspired by the video clip “Famous”, was being placed on sale for $4 million by the Blum & Poe Gallery in Los Angeles, where it is currently on display. Yayoi Kusama to tour North America

At the age of 87 years, Yayoi Kusama is setting off to conquer North America with a travelling exhibition that will kick off in February 2017 and finish at the end of autumn 2018. The exhibition called “Yayoi Kusama: Infinity Mirrors” will first be presented at the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington, D.C., from 23 February 2017. It will then travel to the Seattle Art Museum from June to September 2017, to the Broad in Los Angeles from October 2017 to January 2018, and finish up at the Cleveland Museum of Art from July to October 2018.
