Suite Subastas organises art auction in Barcelona

Barcelona, 12 December 2011, Art Media Agency (AMA). Suite Subastas society will organise an auction at Conde de Salvatierra, Barcelona on 17 December 2011. The society will display lots from the High Era (13th to 18th century), including various mediums: painting, sculpture, furniture, ceramics, glassware, silverware and goldsmith art, books, photographs and even comics. The auction is quite particular as each piece has not been estimated and will be displayed on the auction starting prices. The lots dating back to the High Era include frameworks, many paintings depicting the Virgin and Child, columns, chests, showcases and several other art works in attractive prices mostly ranging between €200 and €3,000. A set of 16 original photographs by Salvador Dali will be among the most recent works, displayed at €2,250; a Pablo Picasso Corrida Picador plate at €4,000; and a lithograph by Man Ray at €300.
