Phillips has announced the details of its Contemporary art sales, to take place in London on 10 and 11 February 2014.
203 lots are to be offered in total, with a combined estimation of between £13.7 and 19.2 million. Amongst pieces to go under the hammer are works by Gerhard Richter, Andy Warhol, Rudolf Stingel, Andreas Gursky, Nate Lowman, Chris Ofili, Urs Fischer, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Robert Longo, Marc Quinn, George Condo, Keith Haring and Wim Delvoye.
The major lots are: Abstraktes Bild 776-1 (1992) by Gerhard Richter, estimated between £1.8 and 2.2 million; Untitled (P492) by Christopher Wool, created in 2005, estimated between £800,000 and 1.2 million; and The Saga Continues… The Journey from Hell (1997) by Chris Ofili, estimated between £600,000 and 800,000.
