Seoul, 10 January 2014, Art Media Agency (AMA).
Seoul’s Daelim Museum is currently presenting “Magic Magnifier”, an exhibition of works by New York-based photographer Ryan McGinley, to run until 23 February 2014.
The artist, whose works are on display in Korea for the first time, was, at the age of 25, one of the youngest artists ever to have a solo exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art. His work is influenced by subcultures including skateboarding and graffiti art, frequently depicting daily life in downtown New York. The Daelim Museum is to present pieces from across 14 years of the artist’s career.
