New Delhi, 18 September 2012. Art Media Agency (AMA).
The dates of the fifth India Art Fair are out. It will take place from 31 January to 3 Februrary 2013 and welcome this time a hundred galleries presenting more than 1.000 artworks. One of the major traits of this edition will be the active participation of South Asia.
“Collectors can look forward to one of the strongest presentations of South Asian art shown to date at the fair. In the past, we have seen a significant increase in interest from Asia, which includes galleries, museums, and individual collectors from China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore”, says Neha Kirpal, founder and co-owner of India Art Fair.
But before the curtains are raised for the India Art Fair, another artistic event will open its doors in the capital this September: the United Art Fair (UAF) will take place from 27 to 30 September 2012. The organizers claim it to be one of the country’s greatest contemporary art fairs.
