The Palais de Tokyo launches its official mobile application

Paris, 13 September 2012, Art Media Agency (AMA).

For its reopening in April, the Palais de Tokyo is launching its official mobile application in partnership with Orange.

Now the largest centre for contemporary art in Europe, with an area of 22,000 m², the application “Palais de Tokyo” will allow visitors to better prepare the visit, to locate in the different areas of the museum, to access the interviews of artists, to have a presentation of the history of the palace…

This application is part of the Orange project to combine culture and technological innovation. Composed of four main sections, this application is an actual mediation tools and support for the public. A schedule of all programmed events in the Palace, an introduction to this major monument, a focus on the exhibited artists as well as works and other unusual information will be available on the smart phones.

The application is already available for free download on the Apple store, and will soon be available for Android devices.
