Next October 20, the price Ducamp Marcel will award a new French visual artist. The already named Artists are: Valérie Favre, born in 1959 and represented by the gallery Jocelyn Wolff Paris, Daniel Dewar and Grégory Gicquel, born in 1976 and 1975, represented by the gallery Loevenbruck of Paris, Bertrand Lamarche, born in 1966 and represented by Poggi gallery of Paris, and finally Scurti Franck born in 1967 and represented by Gallery Michel Rein in Paris.
Created in 2000 by collectors of the ADIAF Association for the International Diffusion of French Art, the Marcel Duchamp Prize is organized in partnership with the Centre Pompidou, the National Museum of Modern Art and the FIAC. It aims to contribute to the international influence of the French scene in confirming the reputation of an artist living in France and working in the field of plastic and visual arts.
The price, with a grant of 35,000 Euros, will allow its winner to show his work in 2013 at the Centre Georges Pompidou in space 315.
