New York, 12 September 2012, Art Media Agency (AMA).

Love Stream is without doubt the most important and ambitious creation of Randy Polumbo. Created from a floodlit aluminum caravan of LEDs as a kind of attraction and of Freudian intervention. This work is as the small sister of The Garden and Grotto of Manifest Destiny which the artist produced in 2008: a construction made of sex toys illuminated by thousands of LEDs fed by solar energy. Through his creation, Randy Polumbo approaches disturbing subjects and tries to light the unconscious of various colours.

Randy Polumbo currently works and lives in New York. He got his diploma from the Cooper Union School of art. The artist draws his inspiration from the city of New York where desire and consumption get involved and where the population is similar, according to him, to robots in the grip of their dreams, appetites, and passion. Indeed, his interest concerns the change and the transformation of what we could consider single-use things, such as sex toys and medical equipment.

He has already displayed his collections in the United States and abroad in Crocker Museum of art ( California) and in Museum of Sex in New York. His work is also a part of private collections.

Finally, Randy Polumbo combines metal and glass, materials brutes to create his so particular works .
