Pete Doherty sells painting made using Amy Winhouse’s blood

The Cob Gallery is organising a sale of several works and items by and belonging to English singer Peter Doherty. The sale is set to take place on Friday 11 May.

Doherty has decided to sell artworks alongside guitars and clothes in order to establish himself as an artist. Consequently, the sale will include album covers and canvases created by Doherty

The artwork that has gained the most media and public interest is titled Ladylike. This small self portrait was created in collaboration with   singer Amy Winehouse, who passed away in July 2011. According to The Independent, the work has an estimated value of between €60,000 and €100,000.
