Mercedes Erra appointed president of the board of directors

Since 1 January, the Cité nationale de l’histoire de l’immigration and the Aquarium tropical de la Porte Dorée have been administered as a single public body. Mercedes Erra was appointed president of the establishment’s board of directors.

This appointment dates from 20 March and was ratified by a decree by the French republic. Since January 2010, Mercedes Erra had only been president of the Cité nationale de l’histoire de l’immigration board of directors.

Born in 1954 in Spain, Mercedes Erra founded the BETC Euro RSCG Company in 1995 and is also the executive chairman of Euro RSCG Worldwide (a communication support, advertising and marketing company) and administrator of the Havas group (a communication consulting company). Mercedes Erra is also a member of the French comity of Human Rights Watch and is engaged in the “Women’s Forum for Economy and Society” at Unicef.
