CAM Raleigh celebrates first anniversary

Raleigh, 9 March 2012, Art Media Agency (AMA).

The Contemporary Art Museum (CAM) of Raleigh, North Carolina, is organising a fund raising gala to mark its first year. The event will include a silent auction of works donated by galleries, collectors and artists in order to support the museum. The event will take place on 11 May 2012.

Among the works to be auctioned at the gala are pieces by artists such as Naoko Ito, Scott Reeder, Fat UK, Kapitza, Richard Renaldi, Taj Forer and Ran Travis Christian.

Opened on 30 April 2011, the CAM Raleigh was born of cooperation between the Contemporary Art Foundation, the city of Raleigh, and the North Carolina State University College of Design.
