Lyon, 7 February 2012, Art Media Agency (AMA).
Artprice has published the results of its fourth quarter, as well as for its complete 2011 turnover. Over the past three months, the Lyon-based company has seen a growth of 5% with a quarterly turnover of €1.725 million, however its yearly growth for 2011 was less strong at only 1%, making for a total 2011 turnover of €5.431 million. Artprice points out that this growth has occurred despite the fact that its online Market Place has been entirely free during 2010-2011.
These results do not take into account the new on-line auction service launched by the company on 18 January this year, however the company affirms that after just a few weeks, they are “able to confidently say that the company should turnover in 2012 what had been anticipated for 2013”.
The company is also aiming to develop its activities in Asia, and to promote its art orientated social network, “Artprice Insider”.
