A retrospective of Salvador Dali’s works is currently running in the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow. It is scheduled to end on 13 November.
Coinciding with the cultural exchange year for Spain and Russia, the event marks the collaboration between the Dalí Foundation and Pushkin Museum. It is Dali’s largest retrospective ever organised in Russia, featuring 25 oil paintings, 20 watercolours, 70 drawings and numerous photographs. On loan from the Gala–Salvador Dalí Foundation, the works offer a complete panorama of the artist’s career, from his early productions to his final canvases.
The exhibit opening was presided by Russian minister of Culture, Alexandre Avdeev; Spanish ambassador M. Luis Felipe Fernandez de la Peña; director of the Pushkin Museum, Irina Antonova; and director of the Gala–Salvador Dalí Foundation, Joan M. Sevillano.
