Auckland Art Fair

The New Zealand Contemporary Art Trust organises the Auckland Art Fair. This edition will take place from 4 to 7 August and private inauguration will be hosted on the opening night.

For the occasion, 41 galleries will exhibit the work of their artists. Most of the galleries are from New Zealand but nine are Australian. An article in the New-Zeland Herald reveals how some unhappy Auckland gallery owners were refused participation with no explanation.

The New Zealand Contemporary Art Trust hopes that 12,000 people will visit the fair.
